Rebecca Cloudy - Emerging soprano Rebecca Cloudy made her professional stage debut at the Teatro Sociale, Amelia, Italy, January 30th, 2010 under the baton of Fabio Maestri performing Gian Carlo Menotti's "The Telephone" as well as Leonard Bernstein's "Arias and Barcarolles". Named "Best Student" of "Corsi Estivi di Perfezionamento e di Interpretazione Musicale 2009" of Castel Viscardo, Cloudy debuted by invite of Ensemble In Canto. Admired for visceral physicality and a liquefied molten voice, Cloudy's extreme versatility as both a classical musician and true American Jazz presence has taken her to stages across North and Central America. In 2006, Cloudy sang the American West Coast premiere of American composer Lori Laitman's song cycle, "Five Lovers". Laitman's works were then presented in concert by Cloudy at Mexico City as well as the unique artisic center of Tepoztlan Mexico. Blending undertakings of musical culture between Alaska, Costa Rica and Italy, Cloudy takes her continuing study of voice with soprano Isabel Gentile in Rome, Italy.
